AddNox TL™
Tie Resin Extrusion Coating Lamination
Product Description
AddNox TL™ is a Maleic anhydride grafted polymer designed to provide reliable bonding strength in metallized structures during extrusion lamination/coating processes. It can be used as a modifier for PE in blends comprising approximately 20–40% AddNox TL™ and 80–60% LDPE to enhance foil adhesion properties. The level of adhesion improvement depends on processing conditions. AddNox TL™ is also designed to provide improved foil adhesion when processed under the correct conditions.

Extrusion lamination in tube laminate on tandem lines

Tie Resin- mPE - Blown Process
Product Description
AddNox TL™ resins are functionalized polyolefins specifically engineered to act as tie layers in multilayer structures. They bond otherwise incompatible substrates — polyolefins, polyamides, EVOH, PET, and metals — by forming strong intermolecular bonds activated under heat. This compatibility enables manufacturers to combine gas barrier resins with moisture barrier resins in a single multilayer structure, resulting in packaging with enhanced durability, structural integrity, and barrier performance. Processable on standard co-extrusion, co-injection, and lamination lines, AddNox TL™ retains the physical, mechanical, and thermal characteristics of PE and PP.
